There is a myth that Agile doesn’t deliver documentation. It’s not true.
We always do the documentation that is required during a BI project, such as design and as built documents, what differs is the way we create them and when.
A waterfall project is all about big documents upfront, what we call the BGU (big guess upfront). You spend a large amount of time guessing what is required to be built and putting that in a document so some poor person down the project timeline can pick this document and develop from it.
[[team document as they go]]
[[document is always up to date]]
[[allows you to version the requirements as you discover new things]]
[[documentation is always in one place, design, technical design, as built, business rules, jira issues]]
